D-3 2009 National Champion Men’s City-Club Side Aberdeen/Northern State have been here 7 years in a row.  In 2009 Wichita D-3 Club Side men where here, and made it to the USA “Elite 8” a month later.  This tournament is GREAT preparation for your own Union playoffs coming up after this event. Have you ever been to a tournament with teams from 17 different states and Canada before?

So if you feel you have pretty darn good club and want a chance to play the USA National Champions of D-3 and a “Elite 8” team??????  Here’s your chance. 

Just come to the March Madness Tournament, and you get a shot to take on the NATION’S BEST !! With 5 divisions, there is a place for your team for women and men on your talent level of play.

• 1 hour 45 minutes Hours from Sioux Falls, SD (Coming from the Far North)
• 2 ½ Hours from Grand Island, NE (Coming from Colorado)
• 2 hours and 40 minutes from Worthington, MN
• 3 hours and 45 minutes Des Moines, Iowa (Coming from the Far East)
• 5 Hours from Wichita, KS (Coming from the Far South)
• 4 ½ from Kansas City
• 5 Hours from Minneapolis or Fargo, ND

What a way to START the New Spring Season !!! 5 different divisions for your talent !

• Last year over 1,200 ruggers invaded Wayne, for the start of the Spring season.
• Social night for 1,200 ruggers was held at the Private Dance Hall for 18's and over.
• ID Bracelets were given to those over 21 years of age, for adult beverages.
• Men and Women's Toga party, music, dancing, Mardi-Gras beads and rugby brotherhood

With the success of this tournament and toga party, we can only allow 65 teams !!!

WE DO NOT NEED MONEY UNTIL LATE MARCH, we just need you to keep this date in your planning. You can enter a FULL SIDE, or also enter a ½ side .

Just to give everyone fair warning on last years event, it went over very well, and it is advised to hold your spot with an e-mail reservation for either your FULL or ½ team side.

Half Side teams asked to have a maximum of 10 players and a minimum of 6 players.

If you travel very far, (as many teams do) we will give you a guarantee of 4 games minimum.

Yes, we have a thing called the “Poor Floor for 4”, for $4 you can sleep at the convention center and roller rink with a shower at the community center to save on hotel expense.  This is perfect for teams on a very tight budget on lodging on Friday and Saturday night.
